Drybrushing done properly: highlights without the faff
Drybrushing is one of those techniques everyone tries once, then either loves or abandons after a chalky mess. Vince Venturella's Hobby Cheating guide walks through doing it properly: how much paint to leave on the brush, when to use a soft brush versus a stiffer one, building up values from dark to light, and even "cheating" free edge highlights by running a nearly dry soft brush over armour plates. Brilliant for getting armies and squads looking finished without spending hours on every rim.
Do you drybrush as a main highlighting technique, or just for bases and fur? What's your go-to brush for it?
